The Database is free of charge to certain categories of user in the South West. Other services, such as funding searches made by our Funding Advisers may be chargeable (please see below for details):
DATABASE SUBSCRIPTION POLICY
When you subscribe to our database, you will be registered with an individual password. Passwords are for the exclusive use of the registered individual and may not be used by others. Any breach of use of the password will result in database access for that user being withdrawn.
Charges
Database access will be made FREE OF CHARGE only to the following categories of user that are based in the listed South West region areas:
individuals
social workers
health workers
Citizens' Advice Bureaux
Voluntary or Community Groups
State schools and colleges
Councils for Voluntary Service
Community First
other local development agencies
Churches
Parish, District and County and Councils & Unitary authorities
SOUTH WEST REGION AREAS of:
Bristol
Cornwall
Devon (including Plymouth)
Dorset (including Bournemouth)
Gloucestershire
Isles of Scilly
Somerset
Wiltshire (including Swindon)
Database access will be on a FEE-PAYING BASIS to the following:
Businesses
Professional Fundraisers
National charities
Independent schools
and THOSE OUTSIDE OF THE ABOVE REGIONS.
The Fee is: £150 per year single user and +£37 per year per additional user.

Enquiries
Wiltshire:
No charge will be made for core services, i.e. enquiries on funding matters, from individuals or voluntary organisations within Wiltshire (not including Swindon) where time for work undertaken does not exceed one hour. Enquiries expected to exceed this time will only be undertaken by agreement.
Other Areas:
All funding enquiries from outside Wiltshire (including Swindon) to be charged at £21 per hour, payable in advance.
Pre-selected funding information packs can be supplied by post for £6, payable in advance (or you can download free from the website).
Consultancy Work
General - All general consultancy work for other voluntary organisations to be charged at £31 per hour plus travel expenses.
Commercial - Advice given to companies (e.g. solicitors) and other commercial organisations to be charged at £42 per hour. Attendance at seminars etc. run by these organisations - see separate training charges.
Local Authorities - Legal advice work to be charged at £42 per hour.
Research Costs - Minimum charge of £21. Carrying out research and supplying information beyond normal level of core services £21 per hour (or £6 per item supplied where contact name and address only required).
Professional Fundraisers - Charged at £42 per hour.
CONSTITUTIONS AND CHARITY REGISTRATION
Constitutions
Checking constitution and minor amendments (£21 per hour)
Development of bespoke constitution:-
£21 per hour for voluntary and community organisations)
£42 for statutory organisations
Registrations: Organisations wanting to be:
Trusts and unincorporated associations (£210)
Charitable companies limited by guarantee (£420)
Other formats by negotiation
Complete basic service comprises supply of model, working through model and advising on amendments, supply of one copy of resulting draft, help with completion of application for registration and general support and advice
The Chief Executive has discretion to waive or reduce charges in appropriate circumstances.
