Neighbourhood Statistics Service
The Neighbourhood Statistics Service is a new service being developed by the Office for National Statistics in partnership with central and local Government and many others. It will eventually offer users ready access to a vast range of social and economic data on a particular geographic area and will be supported by a range of powerful analytical tools with which to turn the raw data into relevant and comprehensible information.

Its users will include local communities who want to draw attention to an issue, or to look at ways their local services might be improved, and other agencies and voluntary bodies which provide services to communities or groups within them.

Data from this site can be used to demonstrate need in a funding application.
