In addition to funding advice provision, CIB South & West delivers a range of funding and governance related training. The half or full day funding workshops, prices from just £30 per delegate, provide essential perspectives on how to lead and structure successful funding bids, where to go for funding, project planning and monitoring progress. We also run a number of workshops for groups looking to understand the Lottery financed funds and specialist areas such as sports funding.

... for those providing advice and support to voluntary and community groups
We provide accredited training for those who advise groups on funding issues. The 3 day funding advisers' course is accredited at Level 3 by the Open College Network. The course explores the range of knowledge and approaches to the the provision of funding advice that are essential for the competent adviser. This course is offered as an open course at various venues across the South and West (see programme) and can be run as a commissioned course for local authorities or umbrella groups at a substantial saving. A two day course at Level 2 is also available for those who provide only occasional advice on funding or are about to take on a funding advice role. Both the two day an four day programmes are delivered by two tutors to ensure that participants receive the maximum support. One tutor is always and experienced, practicing funding adviser.
